Automatic Investing Program

For your convenience, you can arrange to make automatic transfers from your checking or savings account into the Bishop Street Funds. You may open an account with a $100 minimum initial investment per fund and add to your investments with a minimum of $50 per month.

Automatic investing is a "hands off" way to invest, especially in today's uncertain investment environment. With automatic investing, you invest the same amount every month, which takes the guesswork out of determining the best time to invest.

In addition, you can take advantage of a volatile market through a concept called Dollar Cost Averaging. With Dollar Cost Averaging, because you invest the same dollar amount every month, you buy more shares when prices are low, and fewer when they are high. The result is that you typically pay a lower average price per share, regardless of whether the market is going up or down!

Source: SEI Research. Systematic investing does not assure a profit or protect against loss in a declining market. An investor should consider his or her financial ability to continue purchases through low price levels.

Systematic investing provides you with several other potential advantages:

  • Gradual market exposure - Systematic investing is a good way to start an investment program or to branch into a new fund because your exposure to risk is increased gradually over time.
  • Hassle free investing - Investments can be automatically transferred from your bank account, so there is no need to write a check every month.
  • A disciplined plan - Investments are made automatically, so you can't forget to contribute!

It's Easy!

To begin regularly scheduled investments of at least $50 per month through automatic deductions from your checking or savings account, contact your investment professional or call 1-800-262-9565.

Note: If you are purchasing additional Retail Class A Shares, your purchases made through the Automatic Investment Plan will continue to be subject to the applicable front-end sales charge.

Purchase Additional Fund Shares by Reinvesting Dividends

We can automatically reinvest the dividends you earn on your investments in the Bishop Street Funds to buy additional fund shares. This will increase the number of shares you own while providing you with additional potential for growth through compounding. We can also arrange to have your dividends and capital gains mailed to you or automatically deposited into a checking or savings account. You can decide what to do with the dividends and capital gains from your Bishop Street Funds.
